audit our work and procedures. With their approvals
and use of their "mark" to demonstrate
our professionalism to you.
BSI EN IS0 9002: 1994 CERT
NO FS 27048 British Standards Institution monitors and
audits all aspects of Procedures and Field Audits
covering each division within Blackwood Fire, including
Extinguisher, Alarms and Systems.
BSI EN ISO 14001:1996 CERT
NO EMS 54139 British Standards Institution monitors and
audits all environmental issues including new products,
field servicing, waste and recycling and energy
efficiency.
BAFE CERT NO 0221 This organisation ensures all products conform
to the required standards and that engineers are
all trained and certificated, allowing them to service
your equipment to a recognised standard.
SSAIB
CERT NO GWNT/5 Security Systems and Alarms inspection Board
monitors and audits, which includes field audits
of the Alarm Division of Blackwood Fire. This organisation
ensures that the alarms once installed are going
to perform in an emergency when required to do so.
IFEDA
The independent Fire Engineering Distributors Association
is a Trade Association set up and run by companies
such as Blackwood Fire. It's purpose is to promote
quality standards within the Fire Industry, to provide
a bank of information available to all, also to
provide a third party view for you, our customer,
in the event of a dispute.
BAFE Licensing Scheme
In preparation for new fire regulations due in April
2005, all our engineers are now BAFE registered.
This is the only nationally recoginsed scheme in
the United Kingdom that is personal to the engineer
and reflects the high standards of skill required
to perform there duties.
We are proud to be members of these Agencies and
copies of the Certificates are available.
